100% TUV-Certified Soil Biodegradable Mulch Film
Organix A.G. Film is the only TUV-Certified Soil Biodegradable Mulch Film custom-manufactured in the U.S. to meet your performance, labor, and environmental needs.
In North America, manufacturers are not required to test their mulch film for soil biodegradability. We disagree, and feel you deserve to know what’s entering your soil. Organix A.G. Film was long-researched and developed in order to perform the same as regular plastic throughout crop production, but ensure complete soil biodegradation after harvest.
The Problem: Plastic Use and Removal

The Solution: Organix A.G. Film
Organix A.G. Film is a sustainably-engineered solution for growers in need of a high-performance mulch film that continues to protect and support crops while eliminating the need for plastic-use and its associated time, labor, and costs for removal. Our TUV-Certified Soil Biodegradable Mulch Film is custom-manufactured to meet your specific production needs and ensure complete soil biodegradability. We take into consideration your climate, soil-type, crop, and length of growth cycle before deciding on a mil thickness and film recipe. Upon harvest, Organix A.G. Film is proven to soil biodegrade into organic content: biomass, water, and CO2.
Why Organix A.G. Film? We continue to raise standards.

How does Organix A.G. Film differ from other “bio-mulches”?

A TUV-Certified soil biodegradable product is made from 100% biopolymer materials that can be completely eaten by microbes in the soil and digested as natural content. TUV also proves the product leaves no traces of contamination or new pathogens. Once Organix A.G. Film soil biodegrades, it assimilates into the soil as organic matter: biomass, water, and CO2.
Compostable products have not been tested for natural soil biodegradability. The Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) recognizes Certified Compostable Products as those who’ve pass lab testing through commercial or municipal composting. This does not include the decomposition of products used in agricultural practices such as mulch film. It also does not measure for toxicity in the soil after decomposition.
Products labeled “degradable” or “oxo-degradable” or “partially degradable” do not meet any standards for soil biodegradability or compostability, and instead, contribute to micro-plastic pollution in one’s soil. TheNewPlasticsEconomy.org and Ellen MacArthur Foundation support a worldwide ban on oxo-degradable plastics, stating, “Oxo-degradable plastics are being produced and sold in many countries, with society being led to believe that they completely biodegrade in the environment within relatively short timescales…compelling evidence suggests that oxo-degradable plastics take longer than claimed to degrade and that they fragment into small pieces which contribute to microplastics pollution.”
